Tipsport arena in Banská Bystrica is not only a hockey arena, fans of combat sports will also find something to enjoy. Imagine thousands of fans united by their enthusiasm and admiration for martial arts. Add to that a breathtaking light show, hard-hitting punches and atmosphere. DFN 8 was, in short, an unforgettable experience and we were there. While the fighters are certainly tough guys or gals and know their stuff, we were honored to be at their entrances to the "cage" and to be their "bodyguards". It certainly made both sides feel safe with each other.

Just on 22.10.2022 took place DFN 8 where we could see fighters Bigfoot Tutura, Kosovar Fernandez, Ruchy Roušal, Prodigy Talafous, Lengál, Smolková, Dobrotka, Rutkowski, Leng, Barasic, Hulla and other well-known names of the Czechoslovakian fight scene. The main fight of the tournament in the Tipsport Arena was the title fight Tutura vs. Fernández. Juraj Tutura is considered by several experts as the successor of Vladimir Moravcik, as no one has beaten him in DFN tournaments so far. The Slovakian fighter was ultimately no match for Fernández, who also sent Tutura down for the count, allowing the Spaniard to win on points and become the DFN under 77 kg champion.
